Donelly（Brendan Gleeson 饰）从医生口中得到一个坏消息，他的妻子不久前刚刚去世。悲伤Donelly将他们宠物兔子的照片放在妻子手中，于清晨独自踏上开往都柏林家中的列车。 火车上，Donelly的对面坐着一个喋喋不休的青年（Rúaidhrí Conroy 饰），青年似乎对一切都颇为不满，空中充满抱怨，时而与邻座的夫妇发生口角。那对夫妇刚刚失去自己最心爱的女儿，而青年尖刻的话语令丈夫（David Wilmot 饰）暴怒不已，妻子（Aisling O'Sullivan）则在绝望之余作出痛苦的选择。 随之而来的一场变故让Donelly突然发现，就在前一天晚上，他们都失去了生命中最为重要的东西……。剧情描述了73岁的老人濑山克子某天离家出走在奇怪的照相馆拍摄了照片后，相貌突然回到了自己20岁时模样的故事。。A funny and irresistible story of a young girl who literally cannot see or hear her mother, even though she is living with her under the same roof.
