井原满（中尾明庆饰）自幼就失去了双亲，在孤儿院中长大，对于年幼的他来说，孤儿院就是他的整个世界。成年之后，阿满离开了孤儿院，来到了宫园食品综合公司上班，虽然在这里他只是一名保洁，但为了不让孤儿院的家人们担心，他对他们谎称自己是公司里的正式员工。 一直以来，食品公司内部都在举办着名为“Food FIGHTER”的大胃王比赛，这些比赛是为了取悦那些丧失了食欲的有钱人而存在的。在比赛中，阿满展现出了惊人的实力，并且接二连三的获得胜利，他将比赛得到的全部奖金都捐给了孤儿院。阿满的天赋很快就吸引了比赛主事人的注意。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
