The method she has proposed encourages everyone to share their opinions, argue with...。主角尼克是一位文学学士，经常引经据典，语出惊人，幽默感极强。以前是个警察，后来被诬陷开除后成立了尼克斯洛特私人侦探所，有1位美丽的女搭档----西尔维。两个人既是搭档也是朋友，有着共同的人生观但是却有着不同的性情。两个人共同在金玛利亚岛上的热带海滩上执行任务，有好友伊恩（后来为斯拜德）的酒吧作为休闲和侦察的场所。也经常有“马后炮”的警长横加干涉。总之，是一部非常轻松，自由的连续剧。。
