Asking the gang for advice about a romantic place to pop the question without tell...。这是一部以抒情喜剧的形式讲述一个发生在老百姓身边的故事，它真实的展现了下岗工人丁大可的生活经历。离婚已近一年的他为人忠厚，聪明能干。为求生计四处谋职，有时他因心直口快坏了老板的“好事”，有时他自作多情被老板误认成“情敌”而被处处刁难…… 心地善良的他相亲恰遇“对象”临产，危难之际，他热心相助而被护士指责为“只顾自己痛快，不顾女友死活的男人”……他仗义替朋友征婚，又不能同她亲近而被怀疑是同性恋！还遭到自己女友“你还不如陈世美呢！”的痛斥…… 总之，他出于好心好意的所作所为却常常陷自己于“好人难当”的尴尬境地。无奈的他只好自叹“其实男人最辛苦……”。
