唐士哲是杭州城内远近驰名的大厨，不仅做得一手好菜，对两个女儿的要求也非常严苛：每周末家庭聚餐必不可少，而且餐桌上摆的一定是素菜。两个女儿唐瓦儿、唐小兰崇尚一切现代文化，无肉不欢的她们从来对这种家庭仪式都抱着敷衍的态度，对自己各自感情生活也一知半解。。Herzog takes a film crew to the island of Guadeloupe when he hears that the volcano on the island is going to erupt. Everyone has left, except for one old man who refuses to leave. Herzog catches the eeriness of an abandoned city, with stop lights cycling over an empty intersection.。
