故事讲述了刘大头（姜超饰）和兄弟江长河（康健盛饰）因为一张中了大奖的彩票而发生纠纷。刘发现彩票中奖而去找寻江，刘的女友小丽（王雪洋饰）又嫌弃刘没钱而和江在一起，江在黑帮老大（王乐饰）的威逼下去送毒品，开车中车祸撞到了陈依梦（姜洋饰）母（尚云饰）女，江无意中拿错了陈的小提琴使毒品丢失。在找寻过程中，又被无心的小丽把彩票放到了小提琴里，小丽又让情人小桑（田璐饰）去偷回小提琴，刘在找寻彩票的过程中又遇到了寻找肇事者的陈，陈在寻找肇事者的过程中又被小桑偷了钱而无法给母亲手术。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely.
