The Elthams are a dynasty and are not too dissimilar from the Cli...。1937年，日军侵略直指南京。爱国资本家公子不羁正气的关鹏为照顾姐姐留下，并结识国军营长沈汉杰。两人虽相互欣赏又因关鹏姐姐的死产生误会。关鹏欲沈汉杰报仇之时，南京城破，他亲眼目睹了惨绝人寰的中华门大屠杀。沈汉杰将身负重伤的关鹏救出。得知实情后的关鹏放下个人仇恨，发誓要给乡亲报仇。因成功截获情报送至新四军根据地，关鹏和沈汉杰都受到赏识，决定留下加入抗日的大队伍。在漫长的抗日斗争中，沈汉杰的鼓励，领导的培养，以及自己的聪明才智，使关鹏逐渐从公子哥成长为合格新四军指战员。他和革命战友沈雁也从欢喜冤家走向了爱情。危急关头他带领新四军突击连，血刃日本作战指挥野村。经过八年浴血奋战，抗日战争迎来了最后的胜利。。
